When you go out to paint, try to forget what objects you have before you, a tree, a house, a field, or whatever. Merely think, here is a little square of blue, here an oblong of pink, here a streak of yellow.

– Claude Monet

I would rather paint than do anything else. The quarantine brought me to such boredom I started to see visions. I woke up haunted several mornings before I was willing to paint. It's been over a year since the first , now I cannot imagine life without creating.

Home is a retreat, I'd like to provide color washed pieces that draw in and bring comfort. I use the negative space to prevent being over stimulated. Sensual, subtle tones that create an emotion of care and interest for the woman's curvaceous shapes.
